I am taking this class to see if there's way to use DI in the online setting. Best lesson: ? My learning style is visual. I like to see, read and then do it myself.
1) Why did you sign up for this technology training?
I want to be able to use some DI with online classes.
2) Describe one of your best lessons.
In class and online discussion of a novel (most recently The Awakening by Kate Chopin). Lesson uses Moodle page with web resources (Google maps, articles, online text of the novel) and online discussion (Moodle forum) to stimulate class discussion.
1. I signed up for this training to get tech hours. 2. One of my best lessons? That is a tough question. My best lessons are ones where students are doing the thinking, creating, and presenting and are able to achieve success in that. I've had many successful lessons that fit that description. Time and an unwieldy breadth of curriculum are huge challenges in making this work. 3. According to the quiz I just took (because honestly I do remember taking a quiz in my teacher-training, but don't remember what the result)...verbal; bodily/kinesthetic; intrapersonal; interpersonal 4. Not at the moment....
